In 2023, the founder of ChiChi – a chickpea-based oatmeal brand – reached out to me for help to photograph their products. The offer was scary, considering I had no experience in product photography. Regardless, I said yes and got straight to learning. How do I arrange food for it to look appetizing? What angles and lighting do I use? How many compositions do I need to capture in order to produce a strong deliverable? The questions were never-ending, and living in a dorm didn't make this project any easier! However, it pushed me to be creative with the limited gear and space I had available.

Working on this project was a blast, and it was a great feeling getting to see my work featured on their website and other food networks, such as Feast Magazine. Looking back, I wish I'd had some help eating it all. ChiChi is delicious, but six straight meals of oatmeal sure isn't.
